I just joined Glamlist a few days ago and can’t even really explain how impressed I am. Glamlist is an online store that sells brand name clothing- stuff like Dolce & Gabana, Massimo, Prada, etc. By joining up with Glamlist you’re given access to Canada’s only fashion oriented shopping club.
What You Should Know About Glamlist
Glamlist appeals most to women who are looking to find a killer pair of shoes or an awesome blouse without having to remortgage their home to get it. Since brands such as Gucci or Chanel may cost huge amounts of money most people can’t exactly justify the cost. Well, that’s what Glamlist is here for. Glamlist isn’t just for women, though- both mens and womens fashions are carried, as well as a variety of other household items.
In order to join Glamlist you need the following:
- E-mail address that you have access to. Once you join Glamlist is going to send you a $10 gift card as a welcome bonus.
- Referral from a Glamlist member. That would be this website
Simply click on one of the “Glamlist” links. Joining Glamlist is free so long as a member refers you.
- An eye for fashion. Your friends and family are going to wonder where you got your threads.
Anyone can join and it’s completely free. Click here to join.
As of this week CanadaFreeStuff.org will be updated once or twice a week. This is because we are having a hard time finding quality freebies and free stuff on a daily basis that is applicable to Canadians. Starting next week we will be updating Monday mornings with a fresh batch of freebies for that week!
Good morning Canada! After much scouring and searching I’ve come up with five fabulous freebies for Canadians everywhere to enjoy :). Trust me, it wasn’t easy- I had to do things that no 21 year old should ever have to do in order to find these freebies (just kidding- I don’t think walking to the fridge and back counts as a big deal). Today I’ve got some free samples, a new dating site (eHarmony Canada), and some more “work from home” information since that seems to be what’s hot right now.
Before I get into the free stuff I’d like to take a moment to talk about something important to me. Sunday was Remembrance Day- did you take a moment of silence? While I was out for lunch 11 o’clock came and went without anyone stopping for even an instant to honor those that had fallen. Come on, Canada, there are a few traditions that are universal, regardless of your ethnicity or beliefs. This is part of being Canadian. Please, remember next year to take a moment of silence to honor those that have served this great country.
Alright, enough seriousness, on to the free stuff!
- Glamlist - Join the most exclusive shopping club in Canada completely free! If you’re into fashion and want some great deals you know what to do!
- Privacy Protection Plus - This free trial offer will score you a complete rundown of your credit history free with the trial. Instead of paying Equifax $15.00 a pop you can get it here free!
- eHarmony - Join Canada’s number one dating site for free. This is the site that’s been all over TV!
- VistaPrint Free Notepads - Score some free notepads from Vistaprint!
- HomeBusinessInfo.ca - This website will match you to a business based on your interests and experience level.
Just a small update to let all of y’all know that I’m still working on the site but some things came up that took a bit more time than I thought they would. Rest assured that I will be seeking out the latest freebies tomorrow morning (I got a few surprises for everyone too, just wait and see).
Check back tomorrow for some more free stuff!
I know that CanadaFreeStuff.org has only been offering freebies for a few days but I thought I would let you guys and gals know what’s going on. First, in the last three days over 250 people have come to CanadaFreeStuff.org. That’s great, but I want to have 1,000 people or more coming here every day for the best freebies on the web! So, maybe I’ll share what I have in the mix here:
- A freebies forum - I know that there are already a couple of Canadian freebie forums online but I thought we’d do something a bit different. What do you think? Contests maybe? I have no problem giving away $50 to $100 a week to forum members for spotting the latest freebies and posting them or for sending other freebie searchers to the site. What do all of you think about something like that?
- On site freebies - Right now I’m scouring the internet for the latest free stuff that Canadians can enjoy, but I’m thinking maybe CanadaFreeStuff.org could start offering free stuff through the website. Maybe something small, like stickers or mouse pads? Or what about something a bit larger, like a Nintendo DS or Sony PSP? Let me know what you think or maybe some suggestions.
- Exclusive freebies - If the site gets big enough I’ll probably be able to negotiate exclusive freebie offers from various vendors since I’ll have a base of people that would be interested in it. I think I’m definitely going to try to run with this one, but please share your thoughts.
- ??? - Any ideas are always welcomed
CanadaFreeStuff.org is a new site, but it’s something that I’m going to keep around for a long time as I love free stuff and I know that there are millions of Canadians out there who are the same!
Please leave a comment in the suggestion box below and give me your opinions or suggestions! Also, I can be e-mailed at cmartel@canadafreestuff.org!
Before I get into the freebies for today I’d like to take a moment to remind everyone of what today is for we Canadians. Remembrance Day is a day in which we, as a country, remember those who have fought and died in conflicts of the past so that we may exist in a country that is free and prosperous today. Far too many Canadians forget that without the great sacrifices of those that fell before them there would be no Canada, no peace, no sovereignty that we are blessed with today.
Never forget, always remember. Remember your veterans.
That being said, here are the latest freebies for Canada today. I tried to mix it up a bit and add some more to the free stuff area of the website, as many people are e-mailing me asking for more free stuff and guess what? I actually listen! Remember to check back often, or scroll down and add us to your RSS feed via the button at the bottom of the sidebar! CanadaFreeStuff.org is going to become the only website for Canadians with worthwhile, truly free stuff.
